ACCA Member Organizations Call for Resolutions

The 2022 Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Alberta Community and Co-operative Association will be held on June 14, 2022, from 9 a.m. until noon. This meeting will be held virtually via Zoom or in-person at the Fairmont Palliser Calgary.

Please submit any resolutions you wish to be presented to the ACCA AGM using the online form. Alternatively, you can send your resolution to Marla Gagnier, Secretary to the Board, by e-mail to info@acca.coop or use the online form.

All proposed resolutions must arrive at the ACCA office by 2:00 pm (MT) on June 3, 2022.

Procedures for submitting resolutions:

1. ACCA members are asked to submit resolutions by June 3, 2022, to allow due consideration of resolutions by all members.

2. The resolution committee reviews the resolutions, making changes as authorized.

3. Resolutions are then circulated to the membership in advance of the Annual General Meeting to permit consideration by each member's Board of Directors.

4. The Board receives "Emergency Resolutions" if there have been developments since the resolution deadline not covered by existing policy or resolutions submitted to the Annual General Meeting.

5. The Chair can receive resolutions from the floor, time permitting, with a two-thirds majority vote of delegates.
